1. Scope and who we are
CrewBolt is a two-sided marketplace that connects contractors and clients with workers for local tasks, projects, and services. CrewBolt is operated by Ruthman Technologies Corp. References to “CrewBolt,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Ruthman Technologies Corp. and the CrewBolt platform.
This Policy applies to information processed through the CrewBolt Android application, public website, support channels, and related services. It does not replace the separate privacy policies of third-party services you choose to use.
2. Information we collect

- Name, email address, phone number when provided, authentication identifiers, and account role.
- Profile photo, worker or contractor/client profile information, languages, trades, services, ratings, and review information.
- Worker documents such as certifications, licenses, insurance information, or other documents voluntarily uploaded to CrewBolt.
Marketplace and project activity
- Job posts, project descriptions, job locations, applications, bids or offers, accepted jobs, project status, cancellations, completion information, and reviews.
- In-app chat messages and associated message metadata.
- Photos, videos, and other proof of work uploaded in connection with projects.
- Notifications and device tokens used to deliver notifications.
Location information
- Job or address information you provide as part of a profile or project.
- On-the-way or live location when a worker affirmatively uses the “Head there” feature and location access is enabled.
- Check-in location associated with a job when the feature is used and permission is granted.
Payment and transaction information
- Payment-related identifiers, transaction status, payout status, connected-account identifiers, and other records needed to facilitate or reconcile payments.
- Stripe may collect payment card, bank, identity, tax, or verification information directly from you. CrewBolt generally receives status and reference information rather than full payment card numbers.
Device, security, and technical information
- Device and app information, crash information, diagnostic events, security signals, IP address or similar network information, Firebase identifiers, and app interaction information as needed for security, reliability, analytics, and functionality.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve CrewBolt, including to:
- Create, authenticate, secure, and maintain user accounts.
- Display profiles and enable marketplace discovery and applications.
- Enable job posting, worker selection, chat, check-in, location-enabled features, proof uploads, project tracking, reviews, and cancellations.
- Facilitate payments and worker payout onboarding through third-party payment providers.
- Send account, project, security, support, and notification messages.
- Detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, policy violations, and disputes.
- Debug, monitor, analyze, and improve app reliability and user experience.
- Comply with law, legal process, tax obligations, audit requirements, and enforce our agreements.
5. Location information
CrewBolt uses location features to support local work and job-site workflows. A worker’s on-the-way location is intended to be processed only when the worker chooses the relevant feature, location permission is granted, and the feature is active. Check-in may also use location to associate a worker with a job site.
6. Payments and Stripe
Payment and payout functionality is provided in part through Stripe services. Stripe may collect financial-account, payment-card, identity-verification, business, tax, and related information directly from users. CrewBolt may receive Stripe customer, payment, payout, connected-account, capability, status, dispute, and transaction identifiers or records needed to provide the service and maintain financial records.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide CrewBolt, maintain legitimate business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the platform, and prevent fraud or abuse. Retention periods differ depending on the type of information and why it is needed.
Some information may be retained after account deletion when reasonably necessary for payment reconciliation, tax, accounting, invoices, chargebacks, disputes, fraud prevention, security, safety, audits, legal claims, regulatory compliance, or enforcement of our Terms. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted in the ordinary course.
8. Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your CrewBolt account and associated data. CrewBolt provides an external deletion pathway at /delete-account. Where available in the mobile app, you may also initiate deletion from account settings.
After verification and processing, information associated with the account will be deleted or anonymized unless retention is reasonably necessary for legitimate legal, payment, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, tax, audit, safety, or regulatory reasons.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These may include authenticated access controls, encrypted network connections, platform security services, access restrictions, monitoring, and provider security controls. No system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on how you use CrewBolt and where you live, you may be able to access, correct, or delete certain account information; manage device permissions; control notification settings; and request information about your account data. Additional privacy rights may apply under applicable law.
To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

CrewBolt is intended for adults who can legally enter agreements and perform or procure marketplace services. CrewBolt is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 through the service. If you believe a child has provided information to CrewBolt, contact us so we can review the matter.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as CrewBolt evolves, our providers change, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date when appropriate. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or other reasonable channels.
